Meet your Trainer

Hi friends, my name is Colleen.

I am the owner and founder of Ten Four Fit.

I developed Ten Four Fit to help others become the person they aspire to be through exercise, nutrition, stress management and overall wellness. I want to help others achieve what they think they can’t. It is about building a stronger body, along with a calm and insightful mind. Ten Four Fit was developed to be unique, fun, and effective way to workout.

I have always had a passion for fitness, athletic throughout my childhood and into my college years. Realizing this passion, I earned a degree in Exercise Science. Building a career in a corporate gym setting I learned the tools necessary to help others achieve their fitness goals. After 5 years I left that setting to pursue a career in healthcare. Continuing to do at home personal training I learned that it doesn't take much space to give someone a good and effective workout. The hospital setting has opened my eyes to the realities of the body and the effects of unhealthy living. I want to help people deal with these issues before they have to rely on a clinical setting. With more than 20 years of personal training experience, and 6 years of healthcare experience, I know I can help you learn and achieve your physical and mental goals in a fun and supportive environment.

In 2020 due to the financial burden of Covid-19 I made the heartbreaking decision to close my brick and mortar studio and continue Ten Four Fit classes online, but in 2026 I'm back and bringing the heat! In 2024 I became level 3 Pilates Certified to bring you and even better workout experience that will help you engage the core and protect your spine! Pilates has been life changing for me and my own back issues and now I want to help you! Pilates is a mind-body experience to help focus on core strength, muscle balance, flexibility and controlled precise movements. It helps strengthen the deep core muscles to improve posture, stability, and overall body awareness using both the Mat and Reformer.

Ten Four Fit uses both Mat and Pilates Reformers to give you the best Classical Pilates experience around. 


My vision, after Covid-19, is to not only utilize the Pilates Studio to learn Classical Pilates but also the virtual platform to provide a safe and effective workouts at home. Ten Four Fit is an efficient, personalized, and balanced fitness program, without the high corporate cost, while receiving the same guidance and results. The biggest issue for most people is time, Virtual Ten Four Fit allows you to get a quick workout in minus the travel time. Can't make the live virtual class? For $20 a month our small Facebook Group group has 3 recorded workouts per week to keep you accountable and motivated. Fitness is about making small and sustainable life changes to create healthy lifelong habits.
