Hi friends, my name is Colleen.
I am the owner and founder of Ten Four Fit.
I developed Ten Four Fit to help others become the person they aspire to be through exercise, nutrition, stress management and overall wellness. I want to help others achieve what they think they can’t. It is about building a stronger body, along with a calm and insightful mind. Ten Four Fit was developed to be unique, fun, and effective way to workout.
I have always had a passion for fitness, athletic throughout my childhood and into my college years. Realizing this passion, I earned a degree in Exercise Science. Building a career in a corporate gym setting I learned the tools necessary to help others achieve their fitness goals. After 5 years I left that setting to pursue a career in healthcare. Continuing to do at home personal training I learned that it doesn't take much space to give someone a good and effective workout. The hospital setting has opened my eyes to the realities of the body and the effects of unhealthy living. I want to help people deal with these issues before they have to rely on a clinical setting. With more than 20 years of personal training experience, and 6 years of healthcare experience, I know I can help you learn and achieve your physical and mental goals in a fun and supportive environment.
In 2020 due to the financial burden of Covid-19 I made the heartbreaking decision to close my brick and mortar studio and continue Ten Four Fit classes online.
The typical hourly rate for a personal trainer is anywhere from $85 to $120 per session. My vision, after Covid-19, is to have everyone build their home gyms and use the virtual platform to provide a safe and effective workout at home. Ten Four Fit is an efficient, personalized, and balanced fitness program, without the high corporate cost, while receiving the same guidance and results. The biggest issue for most people is time, Virtual Ten Four Fit allows you to get a quick workout in minus the travel time. Our small Facebook Group group allows you to stay accountable and motivated, while giving you the support you need to stay fit. Fitness is about making small and sustainable life changes to create healthy life long habits.
